Watching you with the duc plow brought back memories of my parents. we had old tractor and an old plow that was suppose to be drawn by horse . Mama would drive tractor and pull plow and daddy. One time.. yelp here it comes, It was hot and humid all of us were tired been out in field all day Mama chugging along in what we called granny gear as always. I forget the exact words he used but he basically told her to get her a-- in gear. Well she popped it in 3rd gear and my poor short legged daddy was running to keep up finished the row in no time. He never told her to do that again. Give him credit the row looked just as good as the rest of the field LOL . Ah memories. Thank You. I can see many uses for that tool. :)

Are you kidding? My father drove one of our Cub tractor and I help a one bottom banker to bank our onion seed patches for our onion farm. Yes, we grew our own seed. Boy was I happy when I bought a three bottom three point hitch banker for our Massey Ferguson 165. Don't feel bad though that onion farm made me a multi-millionaire. I retired with 10 tractors 2 forklifts a modern warehouse a bunch of trucks etc.

that is the neatest tool I've seen in a long time. I have a small garden that gets tilled with a tiller. Then I have to take a shovel or a hoe to make rows bc we don't have a row making implement. The Duc plow is the solution. When I looked at it, I was thinking snake oil, but when I saw it in action, it's a must have. Thx!

my drainage in my yard is very bad so i have to build rows similar to his raised Bed he built very tall wide rows . i have a tiller but building the rows buy hand is a back breaker and my tiller is a 20in front tine so i cant mount a plow like the larger models can take , this tool might make building the rows easier for me than with a shovel

I checked online and found the Duc Plow, but the sizes went down to 5'7" and i'm 5'2" so I'm not sure this would work for me. I'm also not sure about walking backward all the time. I'm also checking out Hoss wheel plow. Do you have any thoughts on this? I also have heavy clay. Thanks

Hello Nancy, In my opinion the DUC plow handle would be easy to alter/make shorter. I do not have any info oh the the Hoss. I will try to check it out sometime. Thank you!

Nancy I have the Hoss Double Wheel Hoe and it works really well. That being said it is going to be a little harder to push in red clay. I have clay and it takes a lot more effort than it does in that South GA sandy soil that they show on their videos.

Have had a lott of experience with the wheel hoes hoss makes a good one , but mine have been the old ones it’s fast and easy to cultivate with a wheel hoe close work is easy and shallow removal of small weeds is fast

@@metcalfmills5679 i was wondering looking at it. Looks like a good tool for welding onto the bottom of a wheel hoe/ furrow plow to hill up your taters corn and beans! Other moldboard blades like this made to fit a push hoe are proprietary and expensive like the valley oak looks like a great tool but several hundred bucks! I was halfway debating ordering one of these just to put on a push plow. I guess pullling it looks like it works okay though. Better than hoeing.

Best time I've ever had hilling corn and taters was behind a pony with a turnplow. Using my home made turn plow push plow thingy is a close second. When my grandpa first had me hill taters and corn with the pony i was amazed how well it worked. He told me when he was a teenager same fella offered him a fairly good chunk of money to hoe his big potato patch. Fella was thinking it would take him a while. Grandpa took the plow and horse around and got it done and paid before lunch 😂
