I believe that the milkshake is indeed flavored, probably named something like "Strawberry Ice galaxy" (which is also the name of a plant) rich in artificial strawberry flavor and heavily loaded with enough dark quartz to kill you with one sip. And the slime is just a bi-product in the production, when the "strawberry" chemicals mixes so well with the quartz they become sentient. They just wanna share their great flavor, but sadly must die from the contact damage they have before they can make people taste the ultimate flavor.

Clown's a good skull, and I like playing him! I find he works well with mixed damage(surprise surprise!), and I happily decimate DM 5-7 with clown and crit items(Invis knife, Gunpowder, etc.). I find Highlight(jump and throw knives) skill to be dangerous, sometimes hard to land, but very fun! Second favorite is Jack-In-The-Box(dash and throw knives) skill.

Help! How do i get improved inscriptions? Im in dm7 amd a few dm's back the witch talked about it. But i dont know how to improve them.

The witch will offer you the improved inscription effects if you make it to her at the end of the run (before Alexander when you return to the castle), while having an inscription maxed out. So if you want the Courage one you need to have 4/4 Courage. Spoils you only need 2/2 for it etc. If you get to her and don't have any inscriptions maxed out she'll give you the golden apple.

Practice and learn enemy attack patterns. Put Rookie Mode on so you don't die too fast. Some people will try to rely exclusively on getting lucky with strong items, and it's fun for sure. But you won't learn as much if you 2 shot every enemy. You need to know what they do and how to avoid them (or at least dodge most of their stuff).

Prioritize inscriptions instead of what the item is. You can replace worse items with better ones that share inscriptions later, but initially the inscription matters more. Wisdom and Courage are the best damage boosters for Magic/Physical. Amplification effects are also very solid. Having at least 1 good defensive inscription will help immensely. Revenge is the best one. You only need 2/4 but 4/4 is good too. Antique imo is the second best folllowed by Fortress. There are some godlike items that you want take no matter what like the Cudgel, The Ring and Pot of Greed.

Practice. Lots of it. You can use whichever skull you're comfy with. But you'll probably need to practice for a bit. My video I put out dedicatd to learning what he does is a good example of how to see what he does and how to dodge.
