Do you have any tips on how can I do the one dribble pullup like klay thompson with rhythm shooting? It's square (fake) then hold left stick any direction while pressing square again for the shot. I love doing it on catch and shoot players but can't seem to do it using rhythm shooting. Thanks.

I played last night, not sure what they did, but I couldn’t make a single shot. I’ve played everyday since 2k24 came out. It’s starting to get annoying af. I don’t if I’m iust getting burnt out or consumed by undisputed boxing, but it’s just getting annoying. I’ve spent an absurd amount of money on 2k24, then 25 comes out and it’s totally different. Idk why they have to make shooting harder, it was already hard enough. And now they change it again. I play a lot of center, I have to center builds with very high block, and it doesn’t mean a damn thing because people are just dunking over me like I’m not even there. I guess you could say it’s just me, but that kind of stuff never happened in 24. This game requires so much time just to be good. Then they try to sell us on level skips, and 100 dollar builds. Everytime I make a new build, I never know what the hell I’m going to get. The inside post scoring center builds are clearly the direction for center builds. The pick and pop centers are almost obsolete at this point. Because if you have good shooting, defense is going to be poor af.

Shooting in 2k24 was historically one of the easier games to shoot in. I actually do think it was too easy. They wanted to bring that down in 25, although I don’t agree with the way they went about doing it. Block rating is tied to animations towards the ball and not interior defense. You need to up interior defense and time blocks correctly in order to stop people from dunking over you. Strength also plays a factor. They probably need to buff interior defense tho from what I’ve seen/heard. Poppers still have a place, especially in 2s and 3s

Pure inside centers is not the wave and never will be with how they make the game. if you can't be dominate which 95% of you are not unstoppable scorers in the paint with pure inside centers so stop making them wasting everyone's time including your own. Make a center with at least a mid range jumper to help your teammates out with spacing and yourself with giving yourself two ways to score... shooting is even easier now with the patch .. I got on my guard and went 4/6 from 3 then played on my PF and went 3/4 from 3 so I went 7/10 from 3 on two different timings being bigger players jumpers are slower than smaller players so lab up and put some strength on ya center builds and know how to position yourself to get blocks.

Is that the one tied to your dribble style? Some of the same side speed boosts have in and outs as part of the speed boost. Like the one lamelo and poole have on have an in and out launch attached to them

I have some very early thoughts, but I need to test them out some more to confirm. Love the improved responsiveness of the Right Stick. Shooting seems way easier based on my HOF offline tests, if that translates to online, well...

When you say responsiveness of right stick is still intact, is that for only shooting or does dribbling still feel fast and responsive as it did yesterday?

@@KevinCruz016 nope it’s back to feeling like garbage. I see you can either have it be responsive or be correct. The latter makes it so delayed because the game has to see if you trying to do a certain move aka combo moves. Such a niche thing to make dribbling feel like trash and unresponsive. Only got one day out of being able to do what i want my character to do
