I might do that to mine but like I said this is my daily driver that I enjoy, I'm almost finished with my Mk4 Supra which will be for power haha

I for one will continue to watch Hoonigan until the very end; which in my opinion is no where near. There will be a transition phase I’m sure, but we can only hope the new management will listen to these comments and rejuvenate the grass roots content that made us all love Hoonigan in the beginning.

I picked up an E61 535d over here in Germany last year. The twin-turbo diesel engine is a unit, currently makes 395 hp and about 700 lb-ft with the tune and a DPF delete. It’s an absolute blast and has no problem clearing traffic 😁

It seems like the diesel in normal cars in the US is very exotic. The M57 engine is very popular swap in the offroad community in Europe.

I owned a 335d with all those same mods for 5 years; such an under rated sleeper. Went undefeated in Mexico 7:) against ATS, Camaro, Challenger, Mustangs 5.0's etc. All that and great fuel economy! literally no down side except potential maintenance. I had a 535d now with similiar mods. Tiny bit down and power and WAY more weight but it launches just as hard with the X-Drive and 8spd!

At the end it is the wheel torque that is different too. Of course the Diesel has longer gears reducing the wheel torque.

Horsepower is a function of torque and RPM. Diesels don’t turn very many RPM but make a ton of torque, so horsepower isn’t really a great measure of output for a diesel vehicle. Very close race, but the numbers aren’t everything this scenario. BMW guy says he’s making about 600 torques, which is likely close to what the CTSV is making with 700 horsepower in a car with much less weight
