Hunting public land in the southeast is such a challenge. It’s frustrating but exciting at the same time. Whitetail hunters everywhere else just don’t understand how thick and tough it truly is down here.

Can someone, ANYONE please tell first lite to please make the CATALYST FOUNDRY PANT in the specter color. There are no insulated plants or fleece pants in the specter color. Not everybody was to wear bud overhauls. The CATALYST FOUNDRY PANTS are awesome saddle hunting pants do to have knee pads plus they are fleece lined so you can layer under them. Every piece of first lite is specter except my CATALYST FOUNDRY PANTS. Come on First Lite make some good whitetail hunting pants.

You have to use some sort of scent control in the south and hunt high. Our deer look up and don't tolerate human smell off trail. I have hunted the midwest and texas. They don't seem to care much about anything out there. You can't hunt deer down here like out there. I run a lot of scrape cell cameras. Usually it takes 5+ days for the deer to start using the scrape again after another hunter walks up on the scrape. Sometimes they abandon the scrape all together. I run scentlock from head to toe and spray down. People love to hate on it. It is not magic by any means, but it works just enough to not spook deer to where they abandon an area. I get deer all the time within hours on scrapes after I set up a camera. I have had them smell my tracks and branches I cut within the hour, and they don't spook. Before I invested in the stuff I got busted all the time. Lastly, southern wind in not as reliable as in the midwest. Playing the wind is not really possible when it swirls constantly and the deer don't have true bedding or feeding areas like in other places.

Who cares where its made? The processor that's in your computer or phone was made overseas. Half the parts in all American made vehicles are from China or Japan. This comment is uneducated.

We have all that in Upstate Ny just trade the gators for bears and wolves and you're there. 3 breeds of rattlesnake in Upstate Ny. We got ticks too. I got the lyme to prove it lol. One thing we have that the south doesn't that i wish we didn't. Crippling cold. Can't wait to get some southern trips. I want to hunt hogs in a bad way.

I just watched that and the deer wasn’t even killed on camera. Ok
