Dan I just want to say that ever since I found your channel 3 years ago, bought your marsh and swamp bedding videos, and have been applying your knowledge to how to get on these public land deer it all paid off today! I didn't get the right shot, but a beautiful 10 pointer came by along with two really nice 8 pointers this morning here on the public in Michigan. I can't thank you enough for all of your advice and knowledge, I had the greatest hunting experience of my life this morning!!!

Dan I have to say, you are brilliant, I’ve been hunting all of my life, and I just haven’t been able to figure these big bucks out, well that is until I started watching how you hunt them, find their bedding and get in close, but not to close. Well October 1st I was able to take my biggest buck ever, 157 7/8 ten point, that’s a pretty good buck here in Tennessee. I just want to say, thank you so much, I have learned more in the past two years watching your videos, then the first twenty years of my hunting career.

This past weekend i set up on the edge of pond/swamp from about 100yrds where i could see into the pockets of cattails and brush bushes. Seen a big 150class buck get right up out of his bed at 5pm. Now i know for sure he leaves there time to move in or around. But i never would have keyed in on the water spots like i do now days after watching the beast. Great info and pointers Dan 👍

Been watching a lot of your content the past year, thanks for all the advise ; Appreciate it, I've been trying to hunt more aggressively, I got a some milk weed and have been paying more attention to the wind / thermals , still learning but getting better ! I usually hunt swamps near rivers ideally, but not sure how to hunt them at night because the thermals fall right to where the deer are? Would you just try to setup in the swamp downwind of the bucks exit runway, or try to get him in the morning when he is returning to the bed? thanks !

One big mature doe kept putting her nose to the air and at one point stomped but she wasn't looking at me she was facing in a different direction but I think she got my ground scent but couldn't pin point it. she was standing right where I walked in. One doe smelt the ladder to my ladder stand. It was cool but that's to many doe. They just kept coming in waves starting at 4 p.m. so when's the public land challenge this year?

Here's a message to the haters. So you think Dan is just showing off when he posts videos of how he gets to remote hunting spots? So what if he is. I'll give you my take. Dan may not have to access the areas he does to kill big bucks but he chooses to. Can you imagine the gratifying feeling of killing a 150" deer 2 miles deep in the swamp? It has to add to the great feeling of success. That's cool to me. Just imagine the stories that he has to tell his grandchildren. It's tough accessing these areas and I think Dan likes it that way. It just adds to the storyline. And not to mention it's great exercise. If you don't like it then don't hate on Dan because you could just go watch something that you do like
