Randy is a good friend of mine, he is the most passionate person I’ve ever met. I sold him the orange 46 car in this video and I was honored to have one of my car go into such an amazing collection and to such an amazing person.

This is my dream rally car. My dad owned 3 datsun 240z cars from the 70s to right before i was born. He talks about the safari cars and bre 510s all the time. Nice fucking car

As the owner of a lime (112) 1972 240z I’d like to hear what Randy thinks of the colour. It was never a popular colour until recently. I’m always contemplating painting it red like the safari car. I’m a sucker for red. But I love keeping the car as original as possible. All the vintage vibes. REALLY love all the z content Larry. Datsuns are a big staple in my life...not only because we had quite a few in our family.....from 240's to 370's....starting back in 1981 we my mom brought home her 1st 1981 280ZX which she gifted herself after nursing school. All her friends had Corvettes......and tried to get her to get a Corvette...but she decided to get the ZX because she still had two kids to drive to school in the morning and with the ZX she could just throw my brother and I in the hatch back (yeah, she got the 2-seater) and take us to school....no problem. Corvettes didn't really have room in the hatchback to fit two full grown grade school kids....That's where the whole Z thing started for me.

To bad I can only click the like button ONCE ! A Porsche guy, into Z cars. Let's see can't buy any Vintage Porsche's any longer .....but you can buy 5, Z Cars for the price of a beat up vintage 911. So a true Sports Car guy , I'm Glad it is RANDY, his passion is up there , with ROB'S. And the purchase of the Rally Replica ,on Bring a Trailer, was one of the indicators ,that raised the Value of ALL ,Z Cars. That is a Blessing AND a CURSE , to us dyed in the Wool , Sports Car , Z enthusiast's. But in true Sports Car Classic , fashion ,it was only a matter of time. Z values leaped in 2020 , three times in one year. And hasn't faded at all in 2021. They are the HOT , Collector Car of the WORLD , presently, there is no other car , that is as " piping Hot" as the Datsun Z is currently and for a few more years. I love just how ,thorough Larry always is in his questions. He never leaves one stone unturned, not one. Every time Larry does a Datsun Z video it brings me make to early SPEED HUNTER days when I loved seeing they covered a Z from time to time. They would be on the net and on magazine shelves, at the Book Stores. Great video LARRY CHEN King of Highest Quality Z content !
