My uncle had a spot like this in Brooklyn. As a kid we visited a times in the 80's, my Dad tried really hard not to get his kids to sell it, but they did. Hadbhe off not been forced to take an early retirement & my Mom was on disability, he said he would of brought it!

IKR! My uncle had one & we went to NY several times in the 80's. I knew then I could never live there! TOO COLD& TOO MANY PEOPLE !!! I asked my Dad after the 1st visit,when are we going back to America🤣🤣🤣 I was 7 & we lived in California. It's a beautiful Brownstone!

It would be a shame to convert this mansion into multiple apartments, but the price would be affordable only to a very wealthy family. Recently there are more who have acquired means to live at this level, so there is hope that it will not be spoiled.

you need lot of families to live this house. two people or few people is not good. why not? Sometimes it feels very lonely, depressing, claustrophobic , etc. you need like brother or sister to live this apartment. sharing apartment isn't a problem. married couple to have locked rooms. you know what I'm saying.
