30/01/2025 - Wet weather arriving in the night - Evening Weather Forecast UK - Met Office Weather

The start of Thursday evening is dry and clear in most places across the UK. However, this changes with the arrival of a rain band from the west which brings widespread, and at times intense, rainfall first to Northern Ireland before moving on to Wales, Scotland, northern England and lastly southern England. The precipitation will fall as snow on higher ground in Scotland. The far north of Scotland will generally avoid the worst of the wet weather. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the evening of 30/01/2025. Still winter, but getting lighter now, February is a short month and the first signs of spring will start appearing, and the frogs and toads will be returning to the ponds to mate.

Felt warmer than 7 degrees today ( Thursday ) in Kent. Was outside in just a tee shirt, still needed wellies for the sodden ground though
