Metra SD70MACH Rescues Another SD70MACH!

On the evening of May 18th, 2024, Metra MDN #2623, led by SD70MACH #502, encountered some engine problems around Morton Grove. Later in the night, #2625 reversed onto the stranded set and the combined trains continued towards Fox Lake. I caught the trains arriving at Prairie Crossing just after 1AM and then decided to wait around for WSOR T-004 with six SD60Ms! I think this was the most units I've ever seen on a Wisconsin & Southern train!

Nice catch of the combined Metra trains arriving at Prairie Crossing. Sam! Thanks for deciding to wait for Wisconsin & Southern train #T-004 to come past with six SD60Ms in the lead. That must have been a heavy grain train to need all of those engines.
