One of many under-rated Canadian bands that has been going strong for 20 years. Happy to see they have an American audience that appreciates them.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World Probably did something for them and especially this song ;-)

Metric, Tragically Hip, Broken Social Scene, Sam Roberts, Corn Lund. These are speedsters here, of Blue Rodeo. I told my gf (African) I got tickets to Blue Rodeo and she thought we were going to a real rodeo.

its interesting to see how they adopted elements of the scott pilgrim vs the world version. while i do love this one, the original was still good too!

Unfortunately, Metric is in the same class as Garbage. Bands that should be topping the charts. But, common people have zero taste in music. Both bands should be selling out 20,000 seat theatres. But, either can barely sellout a 4000 venue in Chicago. I love them both...

I think what everyone needs to do is reprogram their minds to the last 20 years. 40 and 50 is not your grandparents 40 and 50. Hell, your grandparents 40 and 50 aren't what was before them either. It is more common to see 50+ year olds doing things and looking like they are in their late 30's these days than ever. Active, healthy and motivated people don't succumb to age like they did generations ago.
@klauswigsmith2 жыл бұрын
@@restlessyouthproductions YES! You nailed it. I'm 52 and my dad looked older than I look now when he was in his early 40s. Younger Boomers and Gen X refuse to go quietly into the night.
