Hello sir, thank you very much for these wonderful lectures. Your lectures helped me to understand the world of materials at macro and micro level. Sir, I have a doubt 6:16 min, in this lecture when you define a, b, c vector in any crystal system. Are these unit vectors in 3 non orthogonal directions x,y and z or vectors?? Because in defining a vector, for eg r vector, it's magnitude r1,r2 and r3 should be mutilated by respective unit vectors.

In a crystal coordinate system, the components are with respect to the crystallographic basis vectors (a, b and c) and not unit vectors.
