I am russian from Latvia (a post soviet country) and I enjoyed playing this game a lot. It is so close to my personality. Surroundings in the game (especially first winter chapter) quite closely resemble my country. Game atmosphere is chilling and graphics look spectacular. Designers have done a huge work. There are so many spots to explore apart from main tasks. That's why I loved this game so much. Highly recommended.

Because antagonists are a way of building things up to an exiting climaxes. They aren't necissarly necissary, but you'll need to find another way to make the ending parts feel climactic. The reviewer never once said he wanted a final boss fight. (showdown doesn't equal boss) He said he felt like after the mid point, the last act didn't do anything to top that and build the stakes higher.

This game is easily a 9 to 9.5. Everything about it is brilliant. From the soundtrack to the tiniest details in the world was crafted with so much care. I have never been more immersed in a FPS or felt so attached to the main and side characters in ages. The ending of the last mission with the score building ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5_Nqmmnl6Z1mdE ) brought me more hope and sadness than I have felt in a video game in a long while. 8.5 is pretty fair for a shooter like this. It doesn't really do anything new or innovative. The game takes already existing concepts in FPS games and blends them into its owns experience

WOW!! The disconnect between everything you said and the actual score is just..... wow. Do these reviewers actually listen to themselves when these are being done? The way you're talking about the game and how you describe it as a 9 - 9.5 game with minimal flaws (the only flaws I heard were inconsistent voice acting and anti-climactic ending) yet you give it an 8.5?

This game is a 10/10 Recently bought it and have not been disappointed. The gameplay is slow paced however you have the ability to free roam. Combat is rewarding and monsters are plentiful. The lighting is one of my favorite aspects of the game itself. When pulling out your map during daylight if faced away from the sun it is illuminated and darkened when facing towards the sun. Dark areas are truly dark without any source of light, however this can play to your advantage during combat situations. The sound and cinematics are simply amazing and I highly recommend playing with a headset to truly get an immersive experience. Overall if you enjoy slow paced, exploring and story driven games this is one for you.

Metro exodus is a 10/10 it drove me into the story, the graphics are INSANE, the weapon customisation is undescribably deep, the characters actually have personality, it is like a sandbox game in several senses

I'm not to into this game so far. Very bad sound design that messes up gameplay. Shooting feels bad. The game constantly takes control from the player for "cinematic" moments but after a while I just wish _I_ could do the cool stuff and play for once.
