Metro holds meeting on new line amid recent violent attacks

Metro held a meeting Tuesday night to show off plans for a new line, but the meeting comes in the wake of a string of violent and sometimes deadly attacks on or near Metro busses and trains.

What MTA needs to do is create their own police department. They had a police department in the 90's and they disbanded it. Over politically motivated reasons. All the politicians live in a bubble and don't know what it's like to ride MTA transit. The people are screaming about safety and they refuse to spend the money. The LAPD....LASD...LBPD cannot handle the transit system and safeguard their own cities.
