Pretty standard station. It's one of the few Porte-named stations that wasn't a terminus like most others, but a through-station from its conception. It sits on one branch of line 7 since 1982 so only half of the trains on the rest of the line serve it. And it was the station were someone arsoned a carriage of a metrotrain causing considerable damage to the station back in 1973. Luckily with no human causualties.

I think it's a bit exaggerated that Wikipedia lists all possible accidents and assassinations that have happened in the stations. There was also a knife fight between two passengers in 2014...😱

Depends on how you define the term assassination... But I don't just mean Paris - for example in the Wikipedia article about Bethnal Green tube station in London, 66% of the text describes an accident that happened during World War II, when the station hadn't even opened yet! 🙄
