@JasPlun10 жыл бұрын
LockeRobster Back then the graphics were awesome! They just did not age well with time and with the introduction of HDTV sets it hurt them more. You can still make the games look decent, but you need to mod the systems to turn Scart capability on and then you need a Scart cable and an adapter that converts Scart to HDMI. You can find modded N64 systems for around $120 on Ebay.

I can still close my eyes, and picture playing this in the middle of the night, with my father. A memory I will always hold with me. My father's alive, and as far as I KNOW, is well. But he hasn't wanted anything to do with me, since I was about 23 years old, and I just turned 31 last month. I've tried for years to have a relationship with him, and he just refuses. All I can say is, don't hold any grudges with anyone in your family, especially your parents. If you're mad at your dad, and aren't speaking to him, please try to forgive him, and spend as much time with him as you can. My dad was my best friend growing up, and I miss him dearly. I'd give anything to have him in my life.

I stole 20 bucks from my grandpa, to get pills, and he told my dad and dads whole side of the family about it. Ever since then, they've all hated me. I've apologized profusely to everyone, have been clean since January 2016, am a father to a beautiful 6 year old girl, and am a good father. My dad, and i were close when I was growing up. I always chose to live with him most of the time, vs my mom. I have a half brother on my dad's side, who's 5 years younger than me, and him, and I were always super close growing up. Now, I don't even really know him anymore. He's 27 now, and I haven't even known him since he's been an adult. He stopped wanting to be in my life when he was 16. The whole situation sucks. I envy people who have a tight family, who are there for each other no matter WHAT. I don't even really have family in my life. My mother has always treated me like shit, and treats my two half sisters like queens. My mom would let me live on the streets, if I had nowhere to stay.

I don’t know you or your family brother, and when i hear testimonies like this it breaks my heart and makes me thankful that I was raised the way I was. If you are a good person who has changed and is a better person that provides for their family, that’s all that truly matters in this world. Your dad sounds stubborn as shit, so was my dad. He sounds like an asshole like my old man was as well, only difference is mine has been dead for i dont even know how long now, while yours still breathes. Mine has been gone for what, 10 years? I dont even remember the day or year he died anymore. I’m 38 now as I write this. Listen, if he isn’t senile and his only problem is that he is a jerk you need to just shoot straight with him. Just tell him like this, “listen I’ve been trying to reconcile with you for years and im tired of asking for your forgiveness, or anyone else at this point. You don’t want to talk to me, fine then don’t. But when you’re dying don’t come asking me to see you or feel sorry for you. I don’t want to hear apologies from your death bed, but rather right now when it can actually mean something, instead when it’s too late” If you deliver those lines like a cold bastard, and it STILL doesn’t give him a wake up call and make him take his head out of his ass and take a step back - he is beyond saving. Some people aren’t worth the time and effort.

Maybe we will get a remake of this game. But we have to wait for over 150 years. Because we're at mk8. It takes Nintendo 3 years to create a mario kart (Mkds 2005, mkwii 2008, mk7 2011, mk8 2014) So we have to wait for 3X56 years = 168 years for the 64th mario kart, which will be a remake of Mario Kart 64

Nintendo realizes. Releases Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart DS 2 years apart to stop such theories. ( 2003 and 2005.) Nintendo fans don't care. xD, hahah.

Whenever I listen to this, I can still see my seven-year old self playing this at my old self. This tune never gets old. The 90s ruled, Nuff said.

Brings me memories. I used to have a Playstation but I had these neighboors that had an N64. So I kind of had best of both worlds haha. They had pretty much every good N64 out there so I got to play everything. My best memories with them was playing Smash Bros and Mario Party. I'm in college right now. Its very stressful because of the emotional impact of leaving your highschool friends for good since we're all scattered into different colleges now. Hearing these songs helps me get through it

I used to play this game with my dad every new years and we always finished off with this track in the special cup. Now he moved and I barely see him anymore but I still keep listening to this song every once in a while to remember playing with him. We always fought over the heavyweights like DK and Bowser and I remember always getting ran over at the start

Me and bro Luigi had many fantastic drives on this course. I remember when I would pull way ahead of the competition and just drive calmly, avoiding a stray chomp chomp or two, and listen to this amazing song

I don't know why but this song promoves that feeling that when you die you actually gonna be running across a rainbow road and everyone that you've met in life and is important to you is sending you the goodbyes.

Still have my N64 and hope that it will continue to last long enough for me to give to my children so that they can enjoy the nostalgia that I felt many years ago.
@Davidevgen11 жыл бұрын
there no moving parts in an n64 so it should last many years. at least 100 years or so.

Memories. I played this game a lot on my Wii back when I was in 8th grade. Whenever I got home on Friday, you could guarantee my ass would be on the couch playing this game from the minute I got home to like 3 a.m. It was honestly the best time of my life until I graduated High School.
