I always thought the Luminoth and Echoes were so cool

In the Samus Returns guide and I think the Metroid Dread Reports that was used to promote Dread, it was stated that there are still Chozo out there, but they are few and prefer to stay hidden instead of participate in Galactic events. Also, in the Remastered Version, there is a new/replaced scan that suggests that Chozo Ghosts are actually just a manifestation of the Chozo's will and determination to destroy the Phazon that are there to test the Entrusted One (aka Samus) as well as keep evil ones (ie. Space Pirates) away from sacred sites.

You always point out something I've never picked up on or heard before even though I've played the games a million times. I'm glad I subscribed! Something I wanted to add is that Samus has a habit of saving planets that belonged to mostly peaceful people groups. I think it would be a cool story idea to have a mission where you save a warrior people group that are benevolent, and then have them basically repay Samus by helping you fight an enemy force at the end of the game.

Thanks for subscribing! I love finding small details in these games years later. I agree that would be a cool story idea, Samus sort of leading a wider battle where she handles the "prime" enemy while the allies handle the rest, as long as most of the game maintains the isolation/exploration feeling.

Dread introduced the concept of different chozo tribes that don't necessarily like eachother. We already know of the thoha and mawkin from dread. The Tallon IV/Elysian chozo aren't necessarily either of them. I would hope that the surviving Tallon IV chozo would make an appearance, considering the back story taste the switch user base was given through prime remaster. I would love to hear more of that spoken chozo language introduced in dread. The use of portal technology gives a clear point of entry for the luminoth as well

Yeah those are interesting points, after dread I always wondered if the thoha tribe are the "majority" that also include the tallon 4 and elysian cozo and the mawkin are just a radical spin off, or if there are several tribes across the galaxy with different ways of life, I wonder if any of that will factor into prime 4

@@crywolfplays the thoha and prime chozo seem similarly peaceful but the prime series chozo seemed distinctly reclusive and spiritual while the thoha seemed more invested in technology and galactic federation politics (according to the iffy Manga). I would safely assume they're separate tribes!

I definitely think Prime 4 is going to focus on new ideas and concepts. There's a slim chance of seeing a chozo, but in my opinion there's practically no chance of seeing a luminoth or a reptilicus. There's a decently strong chance that we'll see one of the other two advanced species mentioned in Metroid Prime 2

I'd be happy with primarily new ideas and concepts, but I think it would be cool to have a few old school callbacks to tie things together after so long.
