I thought Weavel was literally the coolest thing in the world when I was a kid. Heavily reminded me of a marine or zealot from Starcraft, which my dad played a lot. This intro basically shaped my taste in Sci-Fi forever, as Weavel is basically my ideal character in any futuristic setting.

I loved this game as a kid. I used to play as Sylux in multiplayer all the time due to his Shock Coil restoring his health upon hit. This intro brings back memories. Hoping Sylux appears in more games (his ship appeared in MP3 and he briefly appeared in Federation Force).

@@necrorifter3059 From what I remember, the Metroid timeline is the following: Manga Zero Mission (Metroid 1) Prime Prime Hunters (First Hunt probably precedes this game) Prime 2 Prime 3 Prime: Federation Force Samus Returns (Metroid 2) Super (Metroid 3) Other M Fusion (Metroid 4) Dread (Metroid 5) If I had to guess Prime 4's placement, it would be between Federation Force and Samus Returns. That being said, we don't know for sure if that's the intended order yet. Either way, Hunters is Sylux's first game both in the game timeline and the order which the games were made.

I think Sylux was also former Federation trooper. But I think he was part of a balck-ops mission that went FUBAR, and the higher ups used him as the fall guy and had him court marshaled, which led him to be dishonorably discharged. It would also explain where he could get the GF's experimental tech and how to properly use it.

Imagine making this a commercial but with only the names being shown for each person. This would generate all sorts of talk I bet as people began to notice the subtle connections and then finally we end with Samus and "METROID PRIME HUNTERS". If every commercial had a distinctive piece like some sort of interface to it that came up before or after the segment, it would be viral until the last one where it is revealed.

Sincerely hope one of the hunters comes back for a new Metroid game someday. Maybe even for a new Metroid Hunters game, whether it uses Prime's gameplay style or even a new gameplay style. A Metroid Hunters game in a similar style to Castlevania Harmony of Despair with exploration and secret passages definitely has potential in my mind.
