Also, Meta Ridley pins Samus down in the same way as adolescent Ridley in the biosphere with the exact same cutscene angle, and the baby Metroid saves her here like in the outcome of that fight as well.

I don't even mind that this song turns into a medley at the end, it all sounds so good. I just wish there was more of the original end credits theme before introducing the other songs, because this is legit my favorite game arrangement of Metroid 2's credits.

I am still extremely pissed that they cut off the end of the remake to the original credits theme here. This song was going so perfectly, and they just cut it off and change to the FUCKING SUPER METROID MENU THEME, because that one needed so badly to be remade a 21937635th time! Better not let this awesome song they just remade finish, it's not like it is pretty much the best composition from start to finish in the whole series and only exists in its complete form as a gameboy soundfile from 30 years ago. Way to go, boys!

@@unknownzarby1854 in some ways, this game was more faithful to the original, like not having an escape sequence (seriously, the tower escape sequence after getting the power bombs in AM2R felt shoehorned in)
