Early Metrolink B-Roll for use by news media. Metrolink is LA's Commuter Rail system, planned out by the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission (1977-1993), and overseen by the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA), a Joint Powers Authority between five counties; Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino. Metrolink service began in October 1992.
Film and Videos on this channel are mainly historical VHS and 16mm film shot by Los Angeles County MTA and its predecessors, SCRTD, LACTC. LAMTA, LATL, LARy, MCL and PE.
