13 years ago was the Hipster movement, stuff like The Pixes The Strokes Modest Mouse The Smiths was really popular at the time. I hear a little sound from all three of those bands in Metronomy, I think they came just in time to be as popular as they were. I mean they came out at a perfect time to ride the Hipster timeline who like me 13 years ago Hipsters loved this kind of Midwest Emo vibe type music.
