I've watched many orchestra's attempt to infuse soul, funk and Jazz and failed, but this Metropole Orkest didn't attempt to bring this Herbbie Hancock classic back to fail THEY NAILED IT !!! I think I may have watched this video over 10 times and counting. Great Job !!!!

@@jonp4846 the WDR Big Band is what its name suggests: a big band, i.e. trumpets, trombones, saxes, rhythm. The Metropole Orkest is what its name suggests: an "orkest", i.e. a synphonic string section (violins, violas, cellos and arco double basses) with flutes, hobo and french horn and a percussion section AND a big band. There is a vast difference! And the Metropole is unique and the world's best pop and jazz ORCHESTRA (I did not write Big Band here on purpose().

The musicians are all at least 1,5 meters away from each other. There are also some other measures in place to ensure it is as safe as possible.

You made me think there for a while. It might be a hair, or half hair, slower than the original version. But Herbie's later versions were slower and weaker too!l
