Using dice for credits is such a space saving measure! I got the spindown dice that Eric has and they’ve been great. I’m loving the brat summer green sleeves

Interestingly, using dice to track credit totals was once a contentious issue during the FFG era. I think chouxflower does a great job making things readable.

@@MetropoleGrid I once went against someone who maintained their credit total with dice… representing binary. (01001 = 9c) pushing them forward for the ‘on’ position. 😳 Needless to say, poker chips are the best for making credit totals easy to see across the table. And bonus, chips don’t get messed up if someone bumps it. I agree! It works here because chouxflower maintains a really clean boardstate!

@@MetropoleGrid I think the video demonstrated a reason it was contentious, as it is easier to lose track of clicks or what you've paid for or you've used. I definitely find handling actual tokens much easier to keep track of what is going on.

Yeah, the tripod was literally 5$ at Dollarama, so if you have a phone it's only 5 more dollars or thereabouts to start filming. Ofc video production is a lot more work to do, so thanks to Andrej for putting all of this up

PE board states like that are just terrifying. There's a bit of a fallacy of "I'd rather not lose because I ran the wrong thing" going on, because eventually it will just be double Sting or String + Fujii (and Blood in the Water/Reaper Function can be mixed in as well), while you'll generally be OK guessing wrong into anything double advanced except Cerebral Overwriter as long as you have the time to draw back up. Losing the cataloguer is rough for sure, although it can be tricky to know if there's a spin doctor around in this matchup.

Most PEs I see nowadays keep a pretty low credit total for bladderworts in the early game, and then pull ahead with triple tatu bolas in the late game. It’s such a tough ice to deal with!
