Yes Sir. 7 games against Washington, 4 against Pittsburgh and 3 against Colorado heading into the All Star Break. As well as they are playing right now I have no reason to believe they can’t win 9 or 10 of those 14 games. Then again… they ARE The Mets, so here goes….

There was no reason for Mcgill to start this game. They had 2 days off this week and a short pen. He also must be sent down and become a reliever. He is not a big league starter

There was NO reason to be depleted in the bull pen after Diaz was suspended. Megill or Stewart could have been optioned and another arm brought up. But NO, we did not do that. Instead punishing the WHOLE team for Diaz mistake. THIS LOSS IS ON STEARNS!!!!!!!!

I don't think the roster rules would allow for Stewart to be dfad for a pitcher. Wouldn't be shocked if Megill gets sent down soon, waiting till after he made the start allows for a run through with a 6 man rotation.

I had high hopes for Megill when he first came up. I’m pretty convinced now that he is good enough to be a long reliever and maybe a spot starter, but he doesn’t have what it takes to be a starter. He’s typically good for 3 to 4 innings, then it hits the fan.

If I see Tylor McGill make another start, I will renounce my Mets fandom. This bum does not belong in the starting rotation,but in the bullpen at best. As a recovering ❤️‍🩹 alcoholic for almost 10 years now (by the grace of GOD), I fully understand the concept and the mechanism of addiction. Stearns and Mendoza have an addiction to Tylor McGill. Unless this guy is hurt or kills someone,he will make his slotted next start. He could literally do no wrong(he is the Vogelbach of our starting pitching). I mean he puts our offense behind the 8 ball and we have to score 10 runs to even have a chance. It’s not like we don’t have better options in Butto and Scott. I mean,does Tylor have some secret on Stearns and Mendoza??? Addiction is a disease,but one that can be overcome if one is sincere and willing to do so. We are going to have to stop 🛑 for the love of the ALMIGHTY stop slotting this tomato can in the starting rotation. I am not saying he should be DFA’D ,because he does have potential to be a more than viable reliever like his brother,but he is not a starter. Management should see the error of their ways and have mercy on us Mets fans here. We are being hoisted by our own petard as it pertains to this bum. Our other issues with the bullpen notwithstanding. These are things that can be fixed and must be fixed. We have other options in the farm in Wilken Ramos,Montes de Oca, Díaz coming back soon,etc etc etc. But we must get McGill out of the rotation. It’s not fair to the lineup, and the team,or the fans. We deserve better. LGM!!!!

I hadn't heard of him until now and I was expecting some kind of dynamite from this arm. I mean....did Mendoza and Hefner Really think that this guy was going to come up and have success??? Let's face it MENDOZA blew it when he brought in DIECKMAN. Should have lrft the bearded kid from thr minors pitch one more inning. Plus they have an overworked bullpen even before the DIAZ fiasco because their starters , with the exception of SEVERINO don't go past the fifth inning.

MEGILL should be sent to the bullpen, sent to the minors or traded. He doesn't have the guts to be a starter.
