As Gring mentioned - in most translations they water down the lyrics for this song. Here's one Japanese person's translation (from Babymetal subreddit) that's probably a little closer to the intent and fierceness: SIS. Great reaction, Yui and Moa being angry and still kawaii. The contrast between the heavy instrumentals with their sweet vocals just works so well. Apparently most translations for this have been watered down or sanitised and some of the language is a lot stronger than those translations say.

There's at least one translation that goes way overboard in the other direction. I don't think it's so much that the language would be considered tremendously vulgar, but that it's not appropriate or expected for women, especially young girls, to use certain expressions in Japan. That's pretty difficult to convey in a translation.

I think AMR's compilation had extremely spicy subtitles and I suspect it was the final nail to his coffin. Soon after that video he got massive increase in reports and his channel disappeared. However I would rather go with his version of the lyrics, because language used reminds me of manga/anime Bleach a lot. In the beginning of the story main character Ichigo (!) is 15 years old and he usually throws words like "bastard" "asshole" "piss off" etc. (in japanese very similar to lyrics of Sis Anger) non stop at people, whom he does not like, also getting in fights constantly and getting bad graded in school (he is kind-hearted but ill-mannered since he lost mother soon after youngest sister birth). He also has two younger sisters (11 and 8 IIRC) who are ashamed by his brother's rudeness. This song to me is basically reversal of the situation, where sisters have enough of brother's shenaningans and take matters into their own hands. It is not to sully the name of the BABYMETAL but to convey the core meaning of the song, I can be mistaken though and as all art it is open to interpretation. BABYMETAL 🤘🦊🤘

The title of this song is an homage and play on words to Metallica's "St. Anger". The girls are basically saying they want to hurt crappy guys that make them mad with their horrible selfish ways. "I will knock your ill-nature into shape. I will burn down everything with flare of anger." I believe this song is the most lyrically aggressive of all their songs. Even their choreography is aggressive with its kicks, punches, and rage-like moves.

Nice again & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 The words used in this lyrics are harsh, aggravating and brutal. But the combination of such overstated aggressiveness and their facial expression (overly serious and a little smile) indicates they are trying to encourage boys and inflame their guts. That is why the guys at the venue chant to the girls' moves smilingly and happily. I love their sideward kicks which are cute and tender not intending to hurt anyone. And the scene at 04:58 in your video where Yui & Moa spread their arms and shrug their shoulders a little bit saying "what shall I do ? (to guys begging them for forgiveness)" is lovely.

Which is kind of adorable. Of course "Scream" is doing a lot of work here. : ) They always gave the heaviest songs to the two littlest ones. : ) This song is about being angry, mostly at dumb boys. The song was kind of controversial, and the lyrics are a bit rude, especially coming from young girls. The equivalent would be using expressions like "you dumb bastard". This song hasn't been performed since July 2017, when Yui was still with the group. Most of the video was from the Tokyo Dome concert (Black Night) in front of 55,000 people, with some footage from other concerts.

Yeah there levels of politeness and rudeness in Japanese. This is consider below neutral and above rude level. That is why it was shocking to fans the language used. The girls are having fun and laughing singing this while following the song with GJ! The lyrics are a bit ambiguous about the relationship of the boy to the girl whether it is someone new /randomor someone they know. I think it is purposely made it that way to relate to more female audiences. There are only 4 Black BabyMetal. Beside this are Onedari Daisakusen, GJ! And Song 4. Koba Metal, creator of BabyMetal is a huge X-Japan and Metallica fan. Metallica said " That’s what ‘St Anger’ really means to me: being able to express anger in a healthy way, instead of just shutting up and being intimidating and then raging out on someone when it all builds up." It is commonly regard as a homage to Metallica's St Anger. So it can be interpret as girl fed up with her loved one or against a random guy doing inappropriate things. Releasing her emotions. Some fans wonder why (Amuse let) BLACK BABYMETAL sing these somewhat offensive lyrics. Yet Moa Metal said like "I hope 'Sis.
