At 13:32, m2k spotdodges a grab from plup, and plup spotdodges expecting a grab from m2k, but he dashes behind plup and grabs him instead. Then at 15:24, plup spotdodges to avoid a grab then does an ftilt behind him. I thought this was a mistake the first time I saw this set but now I see plup remembered what happened last time and was trying to hit m2k dashing behind him. BUT m2k knew this and mixed it up by holding shield. Just a cool thing I noticed.

SSB_Seal its just amazing how m2k was the one who didn't crumble lol. 3 stocked then blew a 3 stock lead and somehow reverse 3-0d. I agree tho some of my favorite sets the last year and this one we're featuring m2k and plup. Ceo sheik dittos was one of the sets of the year for me.

I honestly don't disagree with Plup's choice. FOD is definitely his favorite stage. It's not to the same degree, but it is like M2K picking FD even after he gets bopped on it eg. vs. SFAT at smash con. I think at top level, it's better to pick a stage you feel best on. If counter pick to extremely you end up with shit like M2K having peach, which works most of the time, but there have been several occasions where that back fires.

Choice Specs Elton John I think plup is best sheik overall but m2k is actually the best in the Marth sheik mu. Besides that one set with ppu when he played 1 sheik game and it was a bo3 Marths havent even take games from his sheik lately and he makes it look awful. has done ppu and the moon dirty lol.

Hreesto m2k is better at sheik dittos when he's really warmed up in the mu. he's barely better. m2k is top2/3 in every other mu where as plup is no1 besides vs Marth and sheik dittos sometimes.

Moe Ali in terms of vs falco falcon fox pikachu Samus plup is better. He's better at pikachu and Samus no question. falcon m2k is second best but plup doesn't even drop games to Falcons anymore I think. fox m2k can do it but not as well and he goes Marth typically. only mus m2k is better at is the ditto (when prepped) and marth

Was really hoping we'd see guys of Plup's ilk make a step up but this was really disappointing. He had been playing great and looked like he could rattle the top (even that would be a good look), and M2K is easily the most beatable God unless Mango does a Mango. He kinda blew this one and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Nothing against M2K obviously, he's been improving last few months, but it leads me to believe that no one is gonna make the step up to winning a first major again this year.

clovehitch that's fair enough if the time frame is only a few months, but both Leff and Juan had their problems and have been growing into it again. Hbox even with finger issues is still top 3 more often than not, and M2K's longevity in pushing for the a major way is up in the air (though I'm glad to see him do well ofc). With due respect, there's no point in talking about PPMD's beatability right now lol.

I would argue that. If m2k is playing bad, that's one thing. However, even I believe mango said, that m2k has the highest peak playing level of anyone in melee. If he's playing at his best, he's the best.

randumo24 you could say that about 101 people and at the end of the day the level you play at is also dependant on your opponent. People talk that 'on my day I can beat anyone', but at the end of the day if it's not regularly reflected in results then it ain't worth shit.

I think that the most easily beatable god varies from player to player because of their styles. Leffen has more trouble with M2K than he does with Mango or HBox.

Well his sheik is also good in matchups such as falcon and axe's pikachu and is a solid pick against most players on battlefield and dreamland and he even took a game off hbox with sheik recently: Also he has said that sheik is more consistent than Marth for him personally, so I think sheik is proven comfort pick for him
