For reference if you want a scale of how much Zain has grown In 2016 he was ranked 66th out of 100 In 2017 he was ranked 22nd out of 100 Now in 2018 he looks like a legit Top 10 contender.

Gonna say it again, Zain is easily top 10 at this point. He is going to ascend into the Pantheon eventually, it's inevitable. Seriously, what other rank 7-10 player has these kind of results? He is either beating gods or he's taking them to game 5, last stock. His potential is through the roof, I've never seen anything like it.

Basically. Axe has stagnated for way too long, Wizzrobe is incredibly consistent but keeps running in to the same problems (Falco) and has an abysmal record against the top 6 anyways, SFAT isnt even top 10 anymore. I still think Wizzrobe has the potential so either him or Zain will be the 8th God.

Happy for Zain and to see Marth winning, but Plup really dropped the ball here. His offstage game and needles in particular were way below par. Really big opportunity dropped, a run of Axe, Zain and M2K to make him #1 for the year should have been his if he was switched on.

There are four versions of Melee that were officially released. Version 1.00, 1.01, 1.02, and PAL. What they were saying about Samus' up air is that in version 1.0 of Melee, multihit moves and moves that do less than 1% weren't able to be SDI'd. So that's why Plup didn't connect all of Samus' up air.
