This is partially right, you can taste any presentation of mexican Coke and still tastes better than US Coke by far, most of bottles are plastic too, the glass one is just for restaurants and some old style saloons, but usually in Mexico anyone buys and drinks for the everyday use Coke in plastic bottles. In México, The people who likes Coke loves the one on glass bottle to drink it straight from it, but if you pour any plastic bottle in a glass is almost the same thing, the same taste... I don't know if the sugar cane thing is 100% the reason, some years ago they did a GreenCoke supposed to be "natural sweetened" and didn't taste that good, not to talk about the Pepsi, tasted like shit...

Never mind. I cant say one way or another. Mexucan coke does use high fructose. But they then claim the stuff they send to the us has cain sugar. Some people did tests proving it didnt. But the fda hasnt gona after coke for mislabeling the goods. So it seems that the tests might be wrong. So i cant say one way or another if the mexican coke sent to america has cane sugar or not.

Isn't the whole point of such a test to see which one you prefer AFTER doing the blind taste test? I don't recall hearing either one of you say which one you liked better, just being able to tell them apart doesn't really matter to a viewer since we can't taste them on the video.

Since you did the test just once, there is a 33% chance you simply guessed correctly. Also the number of participants is effectively mute. In order to do a real triangle test is to have as many participants as possible with repeated tests to include a placebo test. The placebo test would have all 3 glasses with the same product but participants would not be told.

@@hamster2644 That is actually a lie. Mexican Coke switched to Fructose and Glucose in 2013. The Mexican government put a tax on soda to combat obesity and they did what they could to make it cheaper. There was a study that analyzed the chemical structure of Mexican Coke, and they found that fructose and glucose were present (the makeup of HFCS), and there was not even a trace of sucrose (cane sugar). That's why the bottles only say "sugar" instead of "cane sugar;" since fructose is still sugar, they're not technically lying.

IDK yo... I like the American can coke... tastes really fresh, crisp and good. This Mexican glass bottle coke taste a little dead and bland, I do notice a taste difference but it doesn't help me to find it to be "better" tasting than the American metal canned cokes. All in All the American metal canned coke is better in my opinion when it comes to "flavor" and money, its cheap and tasty. However you mentioning that the Mexican coke is made from cane sugar makes me wanna drink the Mexican coke from now on... I only wish these Mexican bottled coke comes in packs of 12, they are like 3 times the price and extremely heavy here in NYC.
