But Méxican Cocacola is still healthier than American Cocacola because sugar cane is more natural than corn syrup, which is known to cause more life threatening diseases, especially in America - considering the fact that almost every food product in America now contains corn, corn starch, corn syrup, or any corn related ingredient. Corn syrup is more artificial & dangerous than pure & natural sugar cane as far as I'm concerned. Many Méxican food products tend to lean towards the healthy, natural, & authentic style while in America, nearly everything is fabricated & manufactured. The food in America isn't even food anymore. It's a product that comes from factories & animal-slaughter houses.

Mexican coke is A LOT better. It is not fake and not using corn syrup. In america, almost everything is used with corn syrup. French fries are made saltier, fruit isnt always fresh. In Mexico, we use NO corn syrup. French fries are A LOT less saltier, fruit is only grown on trees. So, I think mexico food is best (; (no offense I love american food too (: )

I tried Mexican coke two years ago when I went to Puerto Vallarta. It came ice cold & in a glass bottle, it was really good! The canned version tastes just as well. I think the American one leaves me with a sore throat, I have to add more water or ice to it so that it doesn't. And people react pretty badly when they see that haha. But I don't drink that much soda anyways, it's bad for my stomach.

You should probably have served it in blank glasses. That way the participants wouldn't know which was the American nor the Mexican, and expectations created by popular beliefs such as that "The Mexican is so unique, rare and better" would not interfere with the taste experience. Also, you can't compare drinking from a can to drinking from a glass bottle. Both are better than a plastic bottle, but the glass bottle simply wins out. Just suggestions to get a more accurate taste test. Not saying the American nor the Mexican is the best one. That's up to the taster to decide.

Sure, should have been a blind test. In Europe we also have Cokes with real sugar. I've been to Seattle, Miami, NY and Dallas and the Cokes tasted terrible. Mostly because of the bad water quality. It doesn't matter if you drink a Coke, bottle water or a beer, you can taste the bad water. Even in Europe with real sugar the water quality drops when you travel south. Most countrys around the Mediterranean sea have terriable water quality too. Sure, I'm a spoiled Swede with tap water better then most bottle waters around. I just got back from Mexico the day before Yesterday and I will not drink American Coke again. Unless if I forget about what I just said. Only Dr. Pepper. I love the Coke in Mexico.

placida hey it wasn't a joke. Non US/Canada sodas are made with real sugar. African coke taste exactly the same as Mexican coke and the bottles are identical.
