Because most fast food/fast casual places don't distribute the ingredients well. The first bite most of the time is mostly tortilla and like two ingredients. The middle gives you the best chance of all/most of the ingredients without eating the whole thing. Remember they are trying several items.

As long as you're not dealing with an idiot behind the counter, you can pay a little extra for the KFC hot sauce on the side and add it to your mac and cheese to make it spicy. I only go there about once every couple of years, but that mixed with a spicy chicken sandwich is my go-to order.

My dad (born in Texas) didn't learn English until he went to grade school but he left Texas after high school, joined the Army and was around non Hispanics after that. You could not hear any type of accent or inflections in his speech

KFC's coleslaw is actually my favorite coleslaw. As far as the major fast food chicken restaurants biscuits are concerned, in my opinion, Bojangles is my favorite.

First time I went to KFC was a huge disappointment. Actual chicken places have way better chicken at the same exact prices nowadays. I'd be hitting the chicken, potatoes, mac n cheese, any sandwich with some Cholula Chili-Garlic hot sauce, might even toss in some bread and butter pickled jalapeno's. The coleslaw meh I prefer my home made, as for the wrap meh as well since I'd have to hit it with some Cholula Chili-Garlic hot sauce it would defeat the drive-thru grab and go aspect hard to drive add hot sauce and eat. LOL
