Ingredients
For the Champurrado
3 cups whole milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup masa harina (I use the Maseca brand)
3 ounces Mexican chocolate (link in Amazon store above)
1/2 cup piloncillo or panela sugar (link in above) substitute brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 sticks cinnamon (preferably Mexican)
Pinch of salt
For the Churros
1 cup water 2 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
Oil for frying and cinnamon sugar to coat
