You’re right, filipino food is underrated, however, when you eat pinakbet, you don’t eat it one veg at a time, lol 😂, you take a spoon full with rice, of course, and mix with your entree. I’m not a big ocra person but when you mix it- you don’t really notice it. I’m glad you enjoy part of my culture- and trust there are even more types of food, too.

You are right, Caldo de Pollo is very similar to Sinigang. FYI, Sinigang can also be made with chicken, pork, beef, or seafood like shrimp or salmon.

Sisig is pronounced SEA-SIG; and that’s actually called PINAKBET (pii- knock- bet). Sinigang is pronounced SEA-KNEE-GONG. FOOD AND DESSERT YOU HAVE TO TRY: - sisig bangus (bong- ohs) - chicharon bulaklak (boo-lock-lock) - bicol (BEE- KOHL) express - kare kare (car-reh car-reh) - diniguan (dii-knee-goo-on) - ginataang bilo bilo (bee-loh bee-loh) Love watching your videos. have you tried Tortang talong, ginatang halo-halo, adobong kangkong, laing, green mango and bagoong, balut, chicken inasal, dinuguan, bulalo, bopis, bicol express, papaitan, tinola, liempo, binagoongan, tinapa, paksiw(lechon or fish), kinilaw, diffrent pansit such as canton, luglug, habhab, malabon, mami, lomi, another dish is batchoy, lugaw, kakanin such as kutsinta, suman in different variety, sapin-sapin, puto bumbong, bibingka, taho, and a lot more.....

We actually have a city in Pampanga called Mexico, you should check it out sometime. There are beach resorts there though if you really looking for the best beaches I suggest Palawan, Siargao, Boracay, and Bohol.
