The national guard isn't suppose to be the solution itself, but an instrument to both: the federal government and to the security of each state to help end violence. Every Mexican state is like the US states: they both have governors and its own laws and they decided what to do in matters of health, debt, and security. And as we know, there is a block of governors against Mexican president's policy and some of them they don't even go to the daily security meetings with federal government, so even there are reasons why some governors what to keep up the numbers that high. So many dirty businesses between politics and criminals were crushed after AMLO's arrival to the presidency

But the numbers are high even on MORENA's states... Tabasco is mentioned here and we can also see the rise of crime there: Morelos (Morena alliance) and even Mexico City are examples, why would their numbers remain high and also go higher? What dirty business? oh between politicians and businesses? like the ones with Obrador's brother? or with his cousin? And that block of governors have the states that bring almost 50% of the GDP, yet, they recieve less than de 50% of the federal budget, which means they are operating at a loss when working with the goverment. Oh yeah, let's get into health, thanks god states can inforce necessary facemasks, because i'm sure the federal government isn't doing that
