In this video I am joined by my friend Cristina to talk about popular slang in Mexico. We talk about 10 (actually a few more than 10) popular slang words in Mexico and what they mean.
The slang words discussed are:

As a gringo who works with a LOT of Mexicans..."Chinga" is ALWAYS used in a vulgar way. WITHOUT exception.

It's funny, I knew basically all the ones he was unfamiliar with, but not the others. I'm a non-Spanish speaker living in South Texas though...so the words I'm familiar with are more commonly used among bilingual folks North of the Border that i've worked with.

"Fresa" means snob in Spanish slang. It's also derogative to call someone a snob in Spanish. "Neta" means For Real: FOR REALS? "Gacho" means that is messed up.
