We went looking for churros on Dia de Muertos but the place was closed. It was in old town and we were told we’re the best churros in town and you could get them with ice cream! Just got back from PV, go to La Romántica churros & café bar, there are two locations & get the Sarita churro ice cream sandwich. I would get on an airplane just to have another. (Sorry the name is bold & large, I cut & pasted it and cannot seem to downsize it). So delicious!

Thanks! Definitely a big move for us. We'd like to know more history on the place. It was mentioned in a 1961 vacation newsletter where the builder/architect Guillermo Wulff said it was being rented for $8/day low season and $12/day high season as compared to Elizabeth Taylor's Casa Kimberly (then spelled Casa Kimberley then) that was renting for $15/day plus $2 for every extra person. Finds like this 1961 newsletter are really cool and we hope we can dig up more info like this in the future--- A ton of work though! Topics of future vlogs for sure.

What kind of budget do I need to buy a house in PV? Preferably with a hot tub and a view like yours!
@LivingSimplyinMexico2 жыл бұрын
Difficult to say as prices have changed since we purchased our first house. It was a fixer-upper which helped a lot (foreign buyers typically like turn key and construction is that expensive if you find the right contractor). After a brief search this not the same, but in the ballpark: my.flexmls.com/ampimls/search/idx_links/20101209212452924646000000/listings/20201218184627896703000000?_filter=City+Eq+%27Puerto+Vallarta%27+And+MlsStatus+Eq+%27Active%27+And+PropertyType+Eq+%27B%27+And+ListPrice+Bt+100000.0%2C500000.0&listing_id=20201218184627896703000000&view=map

Hi! I am new to your channel. I am considering a move to PV so I'm trying to find out as much as possible beforehand. I follow a couple other PV channels and yesterday one lady, who is over 60, said Costco does not allow people over 60 into their warehouse. I did some research and saw comments on TripAdvisor that back in Jan and Feb, due to gov'ts request that 60+ people remain in their homes, Costco, Home Depot and other large grocery stores would not allow people over 60 into their stores. I know you are only 50 but I'm over 60 so I'm concerned that I'd have to hire someone to always shop for me. Have you heard of this issue? Are other places, such as restaurants have/had this policy? I heard the gov't has now given the green flag so I'm assuming soon Coscto, etc will allow people over 60 to shop? Thank you. :-)

@@bewellstaywellnetwork Why in the world would grocery stores deny people over 60 food? That will kill us faster than any virus.
