Hello, I'm a Mexican engineer who recently graduated, it's amazing the kind of growth we're having, in a couple of months two factories were built around my own workplace, with many more to come. I've worked for german, canadian, and US companies who have a factories here. We have a bright future ahead for the Mexican industry.
@ROVA006 ай бұрын
Sadly, companies are only moving to Mexico because they can pay their workers low wages, even engineers. The company I work for here in the USA has offices and factories in Mexico and the engineers make less than 10% of the salary the USA counterparts and far less benefits. Also, there is still the problem of discrimination against Mexican people of indigenous heritage. Worst of all, most of the profits will be reserved for the already wealthy Mexican oligarchs and company leaders outside of Mexico. This is before even mentioning the massive cartel problem. I personally know two people that have been kidnapped for ransom. One that was murdered when they robbed his shop only two weeks after opening. I have a wealthy cousin who is so threatened that he paid a lot of money to bullet-proof his family car. If Mexicans won’t do anything about corrupt politicians and the cartels, there will be no prosperity for the majority of Mexicans.

I see Black grandparents in Mexican museums teaching their grandchildren about other cultures in a very respectful way. Encouraging those kids to learn other cultures and languages. There is too much concentration on differences in the USA and not enough concentration on common goals as a nation. He said that at first Mexicans did give them food but as more Americans continued to come people started to chase them away. My grampa said a lot of it was due to language barrier, Americans sometimes would just walk straight into his home kitchen and start eating, imagine this happening several times and you could understand things got violent. Also in a patriarchal orientated Mexican family (specially back then) the idea of strange men entering ones home with wives and daughters, it violated Mexican mens sense of honor, especially since rumors of not only taking food but of Americans men also raping Mexican women became widespread. My great-grandfather and grandfather would be armed at all times during those years and would give food but at the boundary of their farmlands and being completely on guard.

Our resources are there and we are super rich, now all we need is to protect the last of the true indigenous blood that we have. Some have less than others and we know what happened there. I’m in Texas and really thinking about picking up and moving. I gave up my citizenship up 20 years ago not knowing I could have dual. I work on the upstream side of gas so I shouldn’t have a problem getting a good paying job.Plus I speak Spanish as well.Great job on this video and this is why they want to use the cartels as a way for America to bring in the military. We know their true intentions.

Distrust of US is not propaganda. It’s both common sense and objective assessment. Love for the US, on the other hand, is utterly counter-factual propaganda. As for Salinas, he remains the most hated expresident in Mexico. Left the country financially indebted to the US, a huge debt for decades to come.

My boy, i love this content but can you make it into a series so its more watchable? 10-20 minute episodes would be great! Also a spanish version would help me share this with my parents. Someone suggested you use AI to translate it
@PikeProductions237 ай бұрын
Thanks for the kind words! This video is a megacut of a three part series. Here is the playlist for the original series: kzbin.info/aero/PLDpcQXldZZBdKep204AyvB7V-KiS0SHTT Each video ranges from about 35-50 minutes. I'd love to do a Spanish version, but translation and voiceovers are a bit expensive. It would cost about $10 USD per 1 minute of video. So easily over $1,000 for this video. As the channel grows, I hope to have a Spanish companion channel.

@@PikeProductions23 Firstly, congratulations on a well made documentary and I wish I could share it with some of my Spanish speaking friends. With regards to the translation into Spanish, as well as the voice-over, I would be help out. I'm Mexican-Canadian and fully bilingual. Also, as an English teacher, I do a lot of translations for my students. I'm somewhat wary of placing my contact information here so, how do I contact you?

As a Canadian citizen, don’t be so quick to give Crystia Freeland too much credit. On one hand she may have saved Canada wrt to NAFTA, but not only is she Trudeau’s right hand “man”, she is the same for Klaus Schwab and the WEF. As Klaus Schwab said, he has “infiltrated 1/2 the Liberal party” as young global leaders and no one is more loyal to Klaus (and George soros) than our Deputy Prime Minister of Canada. She will not be Canada’s next Prime Minister. Canadians see her as just as much a problem as Trudeau.

Mexico has significant potential to enhance its economy through the effective exploitation of its natural resources, strong manufacturing and export sectors, and strategic trade agreements like the USMCA. Additionally, growth in tourism, foreign direct investment, and infrastructure development can further boost economic prospects. However, achieving this potential requires addressing challenges such as high crime rates, corruption, economic inequality, and the need for improved education and workforce skills. Political stability and effective reforms will also be crucial in ensuring sustainable and inclusive economic growth. Great video, Pike Productions!

@@richbandicoot yes that might be so, but the manufacturing process is still Chinese, so in the future we won't be able to trust products that say made in Mexico because even though they're made in Mexico, is by Chinese companies utilizing the same cheap methods they do today in China.

You are wrong, there are production standards for products that are exported in North America, which includes Canada, the United States and Mexico that must be met in terms of quality, apart from being able to make a product that does not have tariffs, it must have materials. from any of the three countries or as a whole of the three and that is produced in any of the three partner countries, many people are misinformed, greetings
