As long as you have a skill which you can turn into an income (or develop a skill) then it's possible. 3 years ago I had no clue about video editing and had no teaching qualification. It's taken a long time but there's so many avenues you can take, especially in relation to web design and software developing, many of my English students are in those roles, so it's great for me that I can connect KZbin and teaching in that way! Roam the World David! Looking forward to your experiences in other countries. Getting back to this trip... You should do a side by side comparison, Real de Catorce and Xilitla. You will know why when you go there. It is incredible that those towns are actually in the same State, never mind the same country. I love them both!!! In Xilitla go to the Pozas EARLY! Remember the crowds in Chichén Itzá? Same thing on a much smaller scale.

With respect to your comments about having a nomadic spirit and your need to be moving about and experiencing new places, I completely understand and agree with you. I also feel as though I have a nomadic spirit, and the worst thing for people like us is stagnation. A good metaphor that you could have used for your video to express this, is an image of a flowing river. A river that flows contains life and energy, but one that reaches a point of stagnation begins to accumulate filth. The filth being your depressive state. I encourage you to continue flowing freely and to experience as much of this world and its beautiful, myriad cultures and topographies.

Lol, whenever I get the cravings for some good chocolate I just have to walk like...4 minutes to my nearest Constanzo shop (the one next to Cineteca alameda, a few blocks away from the one next to San Francisco Square.) Try the Esponjas (Marshmallow covered with chocolate), And the Duquesas (María cookies with light filling, covered with chocolate), princesa (chocolate filled with Kelly and if you feel like just plain chocolate ask for a Tornillo or Enano, Two sizes of bars. Fun fact, you shooted your video where Pokemon go players go place lures and catch Pokemon, and you walked past my cousin's ex-bar, I miss so much drinking a cold one there.

I totally get you. I am a nomad but when it comes to work. I cannot see myself doing the same job/task everyday for the rest of my life. It drives me crazy. That is why the jobs I have enjoyed the most are the ones where everyday poses new problems: teacher, researcher and waitress lol. You should’ve tried the candies pecans and the duendes and tornillos my husband fell in love with those and also the púrpuras are addictive. Ohhh and the duquesas are a must. Don’t leave San Luis until you try them

Was it difficult to get a steady flow of students to teach? Also, how many hours a week do you teach with italki and are you making your living mainly from teaching English on italki? Hey Fadi, my schedule was pretty much full from the beginning, most of my students are in Russia. I do maximum 8-10 lessons a day, 3 days a week, mon wed and fri. It's my main income, then comes youtube, patreon and sponsored videos
