You'll never see beaches like that in southern California. The beaches in southern California are polluted, merky, the water is cold and not pleasant.
@prime8nate3 жыл бұрын
On the Pacific side of Baja the beaches are quite similar to Southern California. Let’s not kid ourselves, Mexico doesn’t have some stellar record of environmental protection and there are places where waste and sewage are getting into the ocean. There are good beaches in both places but a whole hell of a lot more of them in Mexico.
@DesertSenior3 жыл бұрын
Pure BS. The pollution coming from Tijuana is so bad that the water in Imperial Beach on the US side is not safe for swimming much of the time. Pollution from Mexicali, the capital of BC del Norte, pollutes the canals in the US Imperial Valley. The same goes for much of the populated communities throughout Baja.
@DesertSenior3 жыл бұрын
@@erikhaack4123 Well Erik, how about you advise us doubters of your statement just where you live. Do you live in CA or even Mexico? I moved to So Cal 51 years ago from the Northeast coast and have lived in coastal San Diego, Orange County and LA County except for the last 15 years residing in the Coachella Valley. You seem to think that the lack of pollution is what makes ocean waters clear. Sorry but that is not true. There are numerous causes of water being clear and not clear. Ever wonder why the North Atlantic and North Pacific water are not as clear as some water locations in Mexico and the Caribbean? How come the waters off of Norway are not crystal clear? I could go on and on but I doubt you would consider any opinion but your own.

Chris and Carol you continue to take me down memory road. La Paz was one of the places in my first travel adventure right out of college. I took the bus from Tijuana with my camera and two friends. The bus ride was a 24 hot ride. No restroom. Jiji what a interesting trip on a 600 solar budget. Yielded some amazing photos for a new photo graduate, I was proud of my self. We enjoyed the Paz very much then continued on to cross the gulf by plane to Nazatlan, because the ferry had sunk .t
@columbushill49743 жыл бұрын
Great content. Remember on the Pacific side of Mexico you have the Antarctic water currents coming from south to north, this why the water is cold and gives Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego such cool weather, even in the summer time.

Baja California Sur's glorious colonial past has made it a center for historical architecture and traditional art forms, and it's also a great place to surf and fish. Since Baja California Sur occupies the southern end of a peninsula, overland travel to the rest of Mexico is time-consuming.

Ah ae ee oh oo El burro sabe más que tú! Welcome to La Paz Puerto de ilusión! Pronounced Lah Pahz. The tall cacti are Cardones. I grew up in La Paz. in the 1960's the roads your driving on didn't exist then. It was an all day adventure to go to Balandra. For instance. I never heard of El Saltito. Private beaches don't exist here lolol they belong to all of us. Try swimming in the water on a full moon in the summer! It's awesome! Well, it's an area close to California. Not sure if you've been keeping up with the News, but they've gone *way off* the deep end with extreme woke leftist ideals, and it's ruined the entire western coast of North America; mass homelessness/drug addiction, rampant homosexuality, pro-abortion, pro-crossdressing, pro-nouns, and "eco-initiatives" that are really just cash-grabs for governments, as well as overregulation of every single aspect of life. they have pay-per-use toilets over there. Yes. I'm serious. So far-reaching is the negative effect they've had on the rest of the world, that it's caused the cost-of-living worldwide to skyrocket and priced lower/middle class people out of opportunities for homes and families.
