there were actually a lot more USA fans this time than 4 years ago in this same place. I'm forever a supporter of Mexico and not USA but I was impressed, the USA fans made sure they were heard in the stadium. Soccer is finally getting bigger here...

Allocated tickets this time. Many people from out of state. Plus this gave some US fans encouragement to know they had their own away section. 2011 GC final was open market, mostly local fans. There would have been less US fans this time if it weren't for the ticket allocation they did. But it was still a fun stadium to be in.
