That is so cute 🥰 looking, it’s absolutely gorgeous and I love the candy apple 🍎 red, it makes the chrome pop. I’d love to have one of those buggy’s, I’ve loved them ever since I was 12 years old when I saw a picture of one on the cover of Custom Car magazine, it was an orange Renegade buggy with sunken head lights in the hood, stunning, and I’m 64 years old and still love buggy’s, the lust for them has never left me. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧

You do outstanding work!!! I stole a few ideas from one of your previous builds for my manx a few years ago. Also took your advice from your suspension video to set up rear spring plates and my buggie sits correctly and handles like its on rails!! Will be installing a 1915cc Pro Built engine this week. Keep up the good work, I hope you get top $ for your builds, you deserve it.

Milo....love your videos. I have a rat nest of wiring that I am dealing with. I watched your video on the cluster wiring. Do you have any videos or thoughts on where and how to hide wiring on the body from front to back? Specifically from the fuse block to the motor and rear lighting. Thank you.... awesome work as always

If you don't have a wire gutter on the side underneath, I ran the wires into the center channel and then all the way back. Make sure they clear the shifter, shifter rod and clutch arm.

Milo, I like the stance of your dune buggy. Do you have just beam adjuster or beam adjuster and drop spindles?
@milomanx65314 жыл бұрын
Go with the beam adjusters only. If you go with drop spindles alone, you will lower the height, but, will ride very stiff. If you go with adjusters and drop spindles, you will ride better, but, maximum tire diameter is only 21" or 22" to prevent the tire from hitting the fender. Make double sure the weld-in adjusters are positioned properly to lower ride height. Just tack them in and check before fully welding.

@@milomanx6531 Oh I thought they are making a New Version of the Manx now? I have had Motorcycles all my life and snowmobiles.. Don't know anything about Dune Buggies.. My guess is the aftermarket must make every part you need that was origionally made by VW but improves .. that you wouldneed to build a dune buggy .. Since you can't just buy an old VW anymore for a conversion .. I live in Michigan they all rusted away decades ago or were made into dune buggies decades ago

Keith, I used original parts and sent them out to a chrome shop here in Florida. Space Coast Plating does show quality work. The Tail light housings may need trimming to sit at the correct angle. Then I buy a thin weathers strip to finish it off. I have the Red Manx and the Purple metal flake Manx. Both are verified and authenticated through Meyers Manx Inc. They are the original Manx 1's that Bruce Meyers built from 1965-1970. Starting in 1968, body I.D. tags were attached to the body,s. Showing production number, month and year of build and the original color. Both of these Manx's have body tags. These are impossible to find anymore. The Purple Metal Flake Manx is originally Purple Fake and the Red is originally Red. I was going to KEEP the Red Manx as a driver and SELL the Purple Manx. The Purple Metal Flake Manx 1 is now finished and it's perfect. Price is 85K. If you have seen the KZbin videos, LINK BELOW, and want more information, please let me know. Thanks, Milo You can also search "Milo Manx dune buggy" on KZbin and see all my videos. The Purple one is in there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aX_Nq4man9icmJI
