Your guys trips to Mexico City and Oaxaca has convinced me to go. I'm thinking I'll do a solo trip to either spot next summer, maybe. But I need to experience the food and the culture myself. It all looks amazing.

I love your videos. #1 Outdoor Chef Life & Taklyn The World! I love seeing the hard work and effort of the farmers. It is a huge perspective changer to the labor. I would love to see more of the kelp harvesting if possible.

One of the best producers in S. C. Minas; a good start to your exploration of mezcal. Only about 45 more palenques to visit in that town now.😀 Lalocura, Conejo, Felix Angeles, Rosario Angeles, Abelardo, Tio Lipe…all worth a visit!

I think the second one they went to was Don Felix’s palenques no?

Is the novelty worm (in a tequila) from the hook nose beetle or some other insect? Andrea is an informative guide. Taku and Jocelyn looked happy with the mezcal
@TaklyntheWorld Жыл бұрын
She has so much knowledge! I'm guessing they aren't the same since one is a beetle and the other is a worm. I'm pretty sure the worm does eat some of the leaves though.
@traveltime6975 Жыл бұрын
It’s a gusano worm, the larvae of a moth that lays its eggs on the agave plants.

Wanted to try to get a bottle from this distillery after watching this video, but each bottle is at least $1k+. Talk about price for quality haha
@TaklyntheWorld Жыл бұрын
That might be in pesos. The bottle we bought was about $100.
