Great review as always Anthony, I totally understand your reservations on the Mezco one:12 line.. They are expensive and the cloth suits also put me off as well.. However, I recently bought the BvS Non armored original Batman and I have to say it is one of my favorite figures, sure I'd like to pay less but the quality is there with this figure. For $75 you get a great quality figure, with plenty of accessories and posing options. When he is stood next to my S.H Figuarts for example he just makes them look cheap by comparison.. And most figuarts are in the $50-$80 range which when you think about it is not a lot of difference. The cloth suits are not for everyone, I totally understand, I was also in this camp, but I have changed my thoughts drastically since owning this figure. It is amazing. The images don't do them Justice(no pun intended;0) I still think there are some that work better with the cloth suits than others, the Green Arrow for example, I don't like the look of it, but the Punisher and the Daredevil look amazing, and the cloth appears to work well with them as with this Batman.. My hope is you don't miss a trick as they say because you are one of my favorite KZbinrs for action figures. I hope to see more Mezcos on your channel as I respect your opinion.

Great review, Anthony. In my opinion Mezco has been killing it with their figures recently. I love the standard BvS Batman, and the new Green Arrow and Captain America is fantastic. I think if there were 2 I'd recommend for you to at least look into it would be Batman and Punisher.

I have the DC Films Armored Batman and I like the way they delt with how to activate the light up eyes on their figure. The figure has a very well hidden button located in the abdominal part of the armor. No need to take the figure apart to activate it. The figure is also half the price of this figure, taller at over 7" and is proportionally more accurate.

Best armored Batman and best six-inch line on the market. Obsessive attention to detail, tons of accessories, great articulation, sweet aesthetics. 1:12 collective are Hot Toys except smaller and you won't be afraid of breaking it when posing around.

mezco is doing a great job with this line. I have this figure,the sdcc capt America, daredevil, green arrow, bvs batman, dkr batman and getting punisher today. they are all great and keep getting better with each release

Looks good except for the shoulders. The armor plating on the shoulders sit too far from the torso and throws off the streamlined appearance of the movie armor. I really like how they implemented the light-up feature. It's all housed in the head so it won't affect articulation in the body. Clever. Good review, Anthony as always. I guess this means you've reviewed all of the Armored Batman figures from BvS?

Awesome review, Anthony. I will agree with you that the Mezco figures look goofy and kinda like they're wearing sweaters in some of the promo pics. The final products pretty much always looks much better (kinda worried about the superman they're releaseing though).

The breastplate and spear are not die cast, they are actually solid metal pieces. Also, I really appreciate that you reviewed this fairly even though you aren't a fan of the style.

i think if i had to choose one, id go with mafex. it's pretty much a toss up though since they all have serious issues.

Guess not many people like the Mafex Armored Batman? Out of all the three Armored Batman figures (not including shitty Mattel), Mafex got the best articulation out there.

While I really like Mezco's 1:12 line, IMHO DC Collectibles armored Bats looks much better in aesthetics than Mezco's & Mafex's version. Mafex has the best articulation & accessories but their QC is bad, Mezco's looks badass but looks too wide & the armor hinders some articulation. DC Collectibles doesn't offer that great articulation on the main torso but everything else is on paint. I love the light up eyes on both Mezco & DC Collectibles. The capes are a miss on all 3 figures but with a simple crazy gluing in few areas, DC Collectibles cape shine & it's wired. For the money, I recommend DC Collectibles & it scales perfect with Neca's 7" DC figures.

It's really good. I would say that the legs have the pull down joints like imports but it's not as sturdy. they use a really stiff plastic and the legs will break if you move them too far up. It is a stupid feature to have if it doesn't work like it's supposed to but other wise it's a great figure.

It is an American company. When did Anthony say it wasn't in the review? if you're mistaking the line where he said "and it have a ball wrist peg like imports do" as him referring it as an import it's not. It just haves that articulation as an import like many figures are copying in the US.
