Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I can't really be mad at the articulation for this one. It feels way more realistic to me than the range of a typical figure. If you wore that suit in real life your mobility would be greatly decreased as well.

You know the elbows knees and ankles bug me too although like you said he is pretty bulky and in the movie I don't think he moves much more than this figure allows anyways. I do wish those points had better movement but it's pretty accurate to the movie so that's actually pretty cool! The cape is awesome I can't thank you enough for spreading it out and giving us a view of just how big it is. That figure looks INCREDIBLE! I thinks Mezco hit the sweet spot with this 1/12 line. It really does have the look of a Hot Toys figure but in a smaller scale. I don't mind the articulation issues because that is the trade off with using cloth. Sculpted figures like the DC Multiverse figure should excel in posability but you said it best when you said this makes that toy look like a bathroom toy. Can't wait to see what else Mezco comes up with. Thanks for the review!

I think the lack of upper body articulation is a good thing, it seems as though he has about the same amount of mobility as Ben did in the movie in that amour.

This is definitely a must get. I want the normal Batman and Superman Mezco also. Mafex has been disappointing so far. Curious to see what DC Films Premiums does? They look like pretty good figures.

I wish they would have advertised the die-cast at the Mezco booth at SDCC. I passed on it becuase I though they were ridiculous asking $110.00 for a glorified Marvel Legends figure. They didn't even have it displayed with the cape display clips. I'm standing on the sidelines and watching curiously if there 1/12 line of figures resembling Hot Toys will take off,..🤔

Looks pretty cool! These 1:12 figs really only work on certain characters and designs. I really want the Frankenstein that came out recently. Not liking the look of the Marvel 1: 12 figs so far. Awesome review bro

i think the reason batman wears this suit is for selling toys. because it does not make sense he can beat superman with the suit , it makes him slower. (although i know its based on miller's tdkr) and it works really well on selling merchandise.

It's mostly just protection as opposed to improving his fighting abilities . If he was just wearing his regular suit I think he'd be turned into paste within the first minute of the fight

It's for protection. With this suit he can block Superman's punches, his arm would get easily torn off by Superman with a weak punch if he was wearing his regular Batsuit

I totally agree with this review. The figure looks great. The head doesn't seem to sit THAT high in hand, eventhough i can understand that it bothers some people. The two minor issues I have are with articulation. As you rightly pointed out in you video, the knees and elbow joints are very much hindered by the armor, which is at the same time understandable and frustrating. The other issue is with the cape. While the fabric looks very cool I think it's a bit all over the place and i'm having a hard time making it look more sublte. But mainly this figure looks and feels really cool and I know I'm gonna have a blast taking pictures of it. Oh yes the very bad issue I have with it is that it's another great figure adapted from a very bad movie. These last couple years I really feel I'm frequently investing in awesome toys from bad movies. This will be the same when I get my shf Harley Quinn lol

A plastic cape would've been horrible since iit'll restrict the articulation and Mezco is known for using cloth on their figures even on capes. But I do agree the cape is too wide maybe if it was trimmed down it'll look abit better.
