I love the classic look since it reminds me of my childhood. It also fitted that era very well. But I think the trunks should go. It had it's time. No one is going to be afraid of guy wearing trunks on the outside.

Every time I see that dang Superman figure... dammit Mezco where's my Superman equivalent ehh?? I've bought most of your Batmen! I've got the PX exclusive (blue and grey) on pre-order so looking forward to getting it. Did they reveal the third iteration yet? Should be interesting to see (presumably) their take on the Dark Knight Returns era.

Supreme knight is the third and all we know so far is a back shot of it from the mezco catalog

Stephen Reid Hi have no idea what the Supreme Knight will be like. I can’t even speculate where it will go from here. I bet it’s going to be cool though. I’ve got the PX blue/grey on preorder too. It look absolutely fantastic.

Hi Brad I have a question about making customizing my Onyx Sovereign Knight Batman. I want to swap out the yellow and black oval emblem on the figure for an all black one similar to the one on this sovereign knight figure. I was wondering if there are any custom emblems you can order that are all black for the one:12 scale figured you may know of some since you do customizing of your own. Thanks

Mathieu Duval That’s a DC Mezco I’ve been on the fence about. It looks cool but it’s not top of my list. I think what I’ll end up doing is seeing if I’ve got a bit of extra cash when he comes out.

Thank you for the video. It definitely shed some light in this figure. I live the no trunks suit and the raised emblem. But don’t like that belt and those knee pads. I hope they eventually come out with a Keaton version. Hopefully they will incorporate all the positive things fro this version in it...

Trunks clash with the black knee pads too much, it's also easy to switch out the cape for a wired one because it's a ball joint that connects the cowl to the body

Great review. Even if you don't like to use them, i would really like to see some dynamic poses using the cape supports. Just to have an idea of how it looks.

They damage all the capes they have been used on in time. Avoid using the clip ends, use the wires to lay the cape upon for support but that’s about it. Those clips will damage your cape.

Whoo hoo! Hyped for this figure. Mines on the way, itll be here Thursday. Dying to get it! Have you seen the mod for the faces where you can make them swappable by heating them and adding magnets? Seems like a fun afternoon project to me and it adds more options.

Tony Mei is making classic Batman suits for this figure Brad so if you ever want to do a full classic grey and black suit Batman that's you're best bet. Also I definitely like this figure especially the material since it's more flexible and you won't have to worry about stressing the material like the vinyl printed material you see with the Ascending Knight Batman or other Mezco figures which I'm starting to get lines showing on my Ascending Knight Batman on the left thigh. Plus this material of the suit is very similar to the BvS and Justice League Batman figures which I love.

The trunks look suprisingly good to me. Thats from a no trunks kinda guy too. I dont hate em, but given the choice between the two I go nah, but I really like that.

Oh, the unmasked head reminds me, I forget if I've asked, but do you have any Bruce Wayne figures? I know you generally don't collect the costume-less figures, you've said it's not your thing, but just wondering, given you've got figures like these with the unmasked heads or that Unmasked series Batman I've seen you show before, but you keep as regular Batman, I think.

Noah Jensen These are just from the DKR Batman as a test shot. They aren’t too hard to copy from there though. As long as one is fairly good with a sewing machine.

Sorry for late reply, but I'd say Mafex. However, Mafex has a lot of QC issues that _may_ cause issues on your figure. If you dont want to take a chance, this figure is a great second choice. I like mafex more tho ;-)

Stephen Reid I agree. An in-box option would be perfect. I just yanked them from the DKR version to see how they would look before I made them. I still don’t really know how I feel about them yet. I think I’m more leading towards leaving them off if this figure.

Its a shame too since Mezco could've given a better body for Catwoman. Since everywhere I look I see the Mezco Catwoman very low in price since no one wants the figure due to breakage issues. I hope the comic Wonder Woman is better and actually haves double jointed arms but from seeing it on photos from Toyfair I highly doubt Mezco would wanna invest in making a new female body.

I'm sorry i can't stand MezCo Figures. Pillowie looking bodies and the suits and cloth fit so big stiff not fitting exactly to the figures body. Maybe if the bodies we're made from a harder more ridged material and the Anatomy was corrected to be (HUMANLY) proportional Rather than looking like the soft bodied Justice League heros on Freaking - ROBOT CHICKEN! -
