Mezco's Monsters Tower of Fear Review

I take a look at the Tower of Fear by 5 Points and Mezco Toys. Based on the classic Monsters like Dracula Frankenstein The Mummy The Sea Creature and The Wolfman.

Thanks for reviewing this! It’s gorgeous. Sounds like the missing table for Frankenstein is a common issue. I do respect the nostalgia of the cardboard ‘pop-up’ style set, but I’d have gladly paid more for plastic. Even in thin/card plastic, it would have increased the stability, durability/playability. Still, a beautiful set and looks like it will go well with the upcoming Doc Nocturnal set (hopefully not 3 years from now).

I got mine in a week ago and I believe you may have your second story (Dracula) floor on backwards...or rather the hole in the floor should be flushed against the back wall beneath the portrait.

Thanks for the review as it was very useful. I was planning on buying this but once i saw it is all cardboard i decided to pass. Maybe will get it if it goes on sale just for the figures

My store ordered 10 and none of them have the top of the lab table. Also they only have 1 connecting wire and plug, where there should be at least two. As for the extra piece with the adhesive...it looks as if they changed the design quite a bit after they photographed the prototype for the box and drew those poor instructions. That floor piece does not fit correctly at all. Have contacted Mezco 3 times and only received bot responses that answered no questions.

Thank you for the info, I agree the instructions are terrible, I keep checking the Mezco site to see if they will have a form to fill out or someway to get the top of the lab table and the missing wires. I used super glue to help stabilize it but no matter how I adjust mine it seems to be crooked and warps over time.

I just received mine today, and it looks beautiful, but it is being made of cardboard, which makes it feeble. Also, I did not receive a table.
