Hello Dirk, a very nice video. I think you have explained everything very well. I hadn't paid attention to this during assembly and didn't center the steering servo at the beginning.

Hi Stephan. This isn't the best solution from Tamiya. As you can see in the video, I had several tries to get the right spot on mine either. But in the end it was worth all the attention. Have a great weekend my friend.

Comming on great Dirk! This is especially enjoyable to watch as our m0f 01x came already assembled ,so I didn't get the pleasure of seeing it all go together ! Nice to follow along buddy.😊 👍 👍 👍

Hi Dirk, better safe than sorry, I would do the same when applying grease to the gearing. Like the detail explanation, If I was building this kit I would follow you step by step. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.

What surprised me as soon as I saw one of these built that it's sort of a redesign of the old TL-01 chassis and has the gears from it. One thing way better an adjustable motor mount. A dead centre servo very rare.
@RCBirds18 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot. Fortunately the gears fit. Do yeah to the speed gears. What the servo does good, the chassis adapters for the servo did bad.🤣

Moin Dirk! Zuerst hatte ich ja gedacht, dass so ein 26-Minuten-Video ewig dauern würde, war dann aber doch überrascht wie schnell die Zeit vergangen ist. 👍
@RCBirds17 күн бұрын
Danke sehr.

A weird chassis this one, no doubt you forget the foams i don't know why they made the chassis this way and made you have to use all those stick foam?? Should be fun trying to drive it really fast!
@RCBirds18 күн бұрын
Thanks Steve. I'm not sure either, what the foam parts're for. For me it's the chassis might be constructed around the changing of the wheelbase. And the rest was done under the thought: " We still have to do the rest..."🤔

what you think so far mate . my advice put a good servo in as it’s a pain to replace 👍
@RCBirds18 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot Dom. I keep that in mind. Now it's too late. I trust these cheap 20kg ones. Never had an issue before and the Tamiyas still work with 5kg😉. I hope the servo'll last for this event. After this it might a nice evening in the garage to change it. Have a great weekend my friend.
@rc-dom-uk18 күн бұрын
@@RCBirds yeah you have to take so much apart to replace it . i use savox metal gear - about 6kg . expensive but are reliable 😊👍
