Tear into yourself, count tales on your arm Ah the beating, tickin' like a bomb After having seen all that they saw It's hard to imagine, it's hard to imagine. Things were different then, all is different now I tried to explain, somehow. Things were different then, all is different now I tried to explain, somehow. Been listening to Pearl Jam for the longest and I still don’t understand why he got rid of Dave … his drums is just amazing
@kasimojohn20177 ай бұрын
They got rid of dave because he was a conservative gun nut from Texas and his worldview did not coincide with the rest of the group. 1 nite on stage while performing eddie used to hit Dave's symbols with his hands and dave waited for ed to strike 1 and dave smashed the symbol perfectly before ed struck and sliced Ed's hand open purposely. That was the straw. All the ppl that whine about dave look like idiots . Dave def was the best drummer they had but his absence means nothing. This band will always be about Eddie's creative genius and unparalleled barratone vocals. Stop whining you look pathetic.

I absolutely love this song. Gives me chills every single time that i hear it. I can't remember which was the officially released version, but i used to have 2 versions of this song, with slightly different lyrics. One started 'paint a picture, 40, shades of grey' and the other was 'paint a picture vision, all in grey'. Can anyone shed any light on that for me please? I've lost the disc that i burned them to years ago, and have long since also lost the files, but would like to have both versions again as i remember them being (aside from the lyrics) subtly different.
