I met him on Bourbon St during Mardi Gras around year 2000. He was walking with maybe 3 other people and I asked to say hello to him. He stopped and I told him how much I loved their music, comparing STP and Soundgarden to Zeppelin and Sabbath. He gave me a big hug and spoke to me for a few minutes, oddly enough, first commenting that it was so good that young people were having a good time, since there was so much suicide and sadness in the world. Dude is SO warm, so real! I thank God I got some quality time with him.

Ben made up the guitar tuning for this one. It was used in; Pretty noose, head down, this and Thousand Days before (I think, not too sure about the last one) it’s a really cool tuning. You can get an almost sitar sound out of the 4th and 5th strings played together.

Preach! He actually sounds better in this (and it seems to be an unplugged version) than he does in the studio version and that is already so good i kinda figured there was at least some minimal editing on his voice... ...even as someone who also listens to new music i gotta say today's artists could never ...like maybe the late Amy Winehouse or Dimash (tho he's doesn't really make a genre i listen to a lot ...not a fan of ballads)... ...like the best most of them can achieve completely autotune free is being on key ...but let's be honest most "new" artists don't really have unique voices that stand out...basically every decently trained choire singer could sub in for them and vocally there'd be 0 difference... ...sorry for the rant ...i just feel very strongly about music...

The Happy version of this song- Come with me into a desert As thirsty as you are, I’ve got snacks and water and Plenty of alcohol Cause here right now the truth is shining, Right in front of your face, Point yourself in the right direction, And keep a forward pace Oh, bro there we go, Out in this cool world, the stars do twirl, The stars do twirl, I love my life today, I want to help you, You can find god today, it can do it too, Clear your mind and free your heart, I see your integrity, Religions wrong and hate spreads on dividing the you’s and me’s, So love yourself and love your health, And love everything you love, Cause when you are gone, your love will live on, And stays with you and me, I love my life today, I want to help you, You can find god today, it can do it too, Live and let live they say, just a phrase to light the way, You can find god today, I want to help you, Just the way I’d like to be, Just a beacon guiding on, Just a light you want to see, Before you are gone, So come with me into the desert We’ll see a shooting star Where we make some plans to help better the planet Change the ending from near to far Oh, bro there we go, Out in this cool world, the stars do twirl, The stars do twirl, I love my life today, I want to help you, You can find god today, it can do it too, Live and let live they say, just a phrase to light the way, You can find god today, I want to help you, Yeah, I want to help you - I’ve been making Warzone parodies for about 6 months. Recently decided to switch it up. Hopefully this song doesn’t offend you. I TRULY love EVERY WORD of the original song. It’s a masterpiece. My song is for fun. Also, I talk about God in the song. It’s not the Bible God. I had a giant eye appear before me sober in a sensory deprivation tank. It was life changing. That’s the God I’m talking about. Somethings out there people. You know you’re going to die one day, so try to make the most out of your life. Enjoy it, be kind, and try to help others who are less fortunate. That’s all I’m saying. Hey!! I’ve dealt with depression/drug addiction for many years. If you ever want to talk I’m live pretty much every day. Come say hello and let’s chat:) positive energy, peace and blessings to you!

This is the best thing I've seen on KZbin, thank you. And you don't need to explain or apologize for talking about God. I'm not religious, but the idea that someone should be offended at you believing in a different thing than them is ridiculous and childish.
