I met Chris Cornell randomly at the mall one day. I freaked out, I didn't know what to do, but he was SOO nice and invited me to go on a walk with him. It was the best day of my life. We miss you, Chris. Rest in peace forever.

How cool is that?! I met a guy in Adelaide who says he met E.V in a pub and they played pool with Pearl Jam on the juke box. Eddie quietly listening to himself and grinning. “Sounds alright doesn’t it?” he says! I would pay a grand to do that !! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid 3 жыл бұрын
Well, if you keep calling it the last golden era of music, then you definitely won't hear music as good. What you're doing here is 2 things: 1. Discouraging people from trying to make music as you're telling them there's no way they could be good. 2. Even if people ignore this statement (and other similar ones, of course I'm not blaming you specifically for anything) and do make music, you've already decided that it can't be good as we've already passed the LAST golden era... because of that, you're not likely to even give new music a chance, and even if you listen to it that mantra of 'music used to be better' would be so ingrained in your mind that you won't be able to enjoy it, even if otherwise you would have. Of course, these guys deserve praise, but don't be so definitive and doom music- you're only ruining it for yourself. *I'll say it again just to make sure it's clear: I'm not trying to attack or blame you. I've seen many comments like yours, and these are just my thoughts regarding this sentiment because I think it's a pity.

We are so privileged that these two men graced us with their amazingly unique one of kind voices. Chris Cornell gave us a gift with the short amount of time he recorded, leaving us with an infinity of cherished memories. Eddie is still sharing his gift. Cherish every moment ❤❤

This is beautiful and sad all at the same time. I was 16-17 told when this song came out. These guys are icons and I was fortunate to see them both live. Chris’ eyes say everything. Such a loss. R.I.P. Chris Cornell

This album was to honor a fallen mutual friend of theirs. GREAT album. 1 thing to remember about Chris, he and Chester were very outspoken against child and human trafficking and worked with groups to combat it. Now both are dead. The world is worse off because of it. We miss and love you Chris

If you're trying to imply they were murdered, then you're wrong. They took their lives. Yes, they thought human trafficking was bad, but so do most people... what, if I donate to an organization combatting climate change and die, does it mean I was murdered by executives from companies whose factories pollute the atmosphere? That's how ridiculous you sound. I agree with you about them being good people and the world being worse without them though.

Don't cry sad tears. We are lucky that we don't just have his recordings we have all this free video available. Unlike the past b4 the net we know his and his generations music will be around till the end of time. :) Celebrate now the time for sad tears has passed. It took me a decade to get over Layne so really trying to cheer you up as I understand.
