Looks like breeze block aka aerated concrete block. Popular in the 80s and soft as shite. You can chisel it out with a screwdriver. A mate of mine went at my walls with a chasing chisel and destroyed great lumps my walls made of this before I got to him to stop him and tell him to use my chaser. The 80s stuff is so crumbly you can’t even put rawl plugs in it to take anything more than a small picture. Mounted a feature rad on the wall and it just pulled out the anchors with just the weight of the rad. Had to use chem fix to get decent fixings in.

@@timothymercer3526 breeze block and concrete blocks are different. Breeze block can easily hand chase nicely with chisel. Concrete will break in clumps and can take a beating to get boxes chased in.

Can the triple blade only cut at 28.5mm? I use 25mm oval conduit and I’d like to use a 3 blade cutter to cut exactly 25mm

The triple blades are only sold in 20 and 30 [mm wide]. The 28.5mm is the length of a diamond section.

Cutting 'chases'/channels in brick walls. So you can run wires or pipes down them. It's basically just a big circular saw, with an vaccum hose to reduce the amount of dust. Might have an attachment that sprays water depending on the brand, also to help reduce dust.

That's for wood... This tool uses diamond infused steel blades, like all wall chasers do. It just uses 3 of them and can take most of the inner material as dust and debris directly out of the wall.
